Smith Empire CDL Training is a dream of our owners Cherie and Terry Smith. They have been in the Trucking Industry for over 30 years, and together they have built an empire. When you talk to them you can not only see the passion they have for this industry you can hear it and feel it. They always wanted to start a CDL Class A school for so many reasons but the main reason is their concern about the lack of training new drivers have on the road today. They believe the quality of a new driver reflects on the training they receive. They want to change this industry standard of training one driver at a time. The way they want do this at Smith Empire CDL Training is to offer classes in: Hazmat training classes Doubles/Triples classes Drop and Hook classes Of course all the standard State and Federal Regulated schooling they need to obtain their CDL, taught by our instructors who are certified by the State of Indiana. At Smith Empire CDL Training we are looking forward to being a part of this fantastic journey with our students. Our duty to our students is to help them achieve their goal and get their CDL Class A. While you are here our students will work with our in house recruiter to receive Job Placement. Our students will be visited by Recruiters from several different companies that can and will work with you coming right out of school to find the best fitting position for you and your family. Job Placement is available to at any time a graduating student needs our help. Our students mean more to us here at Smith Empire CDL Training than just a dollar sign, we treat our students as family. Our Students will be in a classroom of 4 students to 1 instructor, each truckis a classroom environment. Our students will have 200 hours of training.
