1A Acclaim Carpet Cleaners was established in 1975 by Terry Barnes shortly after leaving the Royal Air Force and has remained a family run business for over 40 years. Terry worked long and hard days and sometimes nights, building the reputation and experience into the company.

Carpet cleaning was a relatively new service back in 1975 so customers were few and hard to find. Gradually Terry discovered the best products and machines to use.
