Alco Delivery Service was established in 1972. John J. Counts, owner and president purchased ALCO in 1982 then a two door Houston operation. Family owned and operated with his wife Laura, Secretary/Treasurer,his daughter Janet, Executive Vice President and his son Paul, Vice President of Operations. Currently we are operating, with a twenty door terminal in Houston, a forty-two door terminal in Dallas, eightdoor terminal in San Antonio and a four door terminal in McAllen. ALCO has provided (LTL) less than a truck load service for partners shipping various general commodities in Houstonand the surrounding area since 1972. In 2000 ALCO expanded its service area into the San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Ft Worth and Laredo area.offering service to these areas for our Texas shippers and Partners.
