In 2017, Bert Garcia and Mike Mancias had a vision—to provide children a healthy alternative to empty calorie sugary treats. Growing up in South Texas, both men have witnessed the implications that obesity and diabetes can have on families. After much research and development (and a lot of cookie tasting), they came up with the original ‘Baked Smart Cookie’!

Baked Smart Cookie is uniquely formulated with four different kinds of fruits and vegetables to provide an optimal snack that parents can feel confident sharing with friends and family.

Our vision to provide children with a healthy snack is fueled by our founders’ quest for high quality ingredients to create a nutritious option that is certified USDA organic, non-GMO, vegan, and soy/peanut free. We think we got it just right.
