Our History Values

Barjan began as a distributor of novelty items to local convenience shops in the mid-1960s. Over the next decade, as truck shops become part of the landscape of every American interstate, the demand for mobile communications equipment as well as more general merchandise grew. Barjan met the growing needs of those traveling our great nation.

Americans have needed everything from clock radios to CB antennas, cell phone charges to global positioning systems- Barjan has consistently fulfilled the unique demands of that dynamic market within our hard-driving culture. While times and needs change, hard work,respect, and trust do not. As we approach our 50th year in business, Barjan has relentlessly proven its dedication to providing products to the people who require them with effciency and an eye on the bottom line.

The strong relationships we cultivate with truck stop, travel center, and convenience store operators across the United States and Canada are a testament to our willingness and ability to adapt to their needs, whether that means expanding our warehousing capacity or streamlining our customers care operations. To that end, our customers care operates 12 hours a day from 7:00am to 7:00pm Central Time. As an example of the extraordinary lengths Barjan will go to for our clientele, we offer French-speaking customer care for those Canadian customers requiring it.

Today, Barjan is taking the lead in moving general merchandise to market for major manufacturers. We distribute products throughout the North American continent better than anyone. Whether it's manufacturing, warehousing, solving problems for our customers, or just sharing information with accelerating as we enter the next 50 days.
