Bodyworks is the brainchild of Michael Nelson, who after completing his Master's Degree in Sports Medicine, saw the need for a different kind of workout facility. One that catered to not only a person's physical well-being, but emotional, mental & spiritual as well.

Michael is a respected exercise physiologist and frequent author and lecturer on the subject of health and fitness. Bodyworks is centered around personal service, personal interaction, personal training, and family. When every consultant, industry magazine, and chain store said building a family-friendly club with an emphasis on personal training was a dead-end and a money pit, Bodyworks breaks the mold of other health clubs and offers incredible facilities for all members of the family with great service and reasonable prices
