Nature of business C-Sentry Sacrificial aluminium or zinc anodes for cathodic protection have been successfully supplied by Impalloy for over 40 years. The introduction of the C-Gard brand name helps to differentiate between flushmount and stand off designs. Our long track record means that we can supply anodes from our extensive catalogue of designs, for all types of marine structures. Market sectors include:- Offshore: pipelines, platforms and subsea structures Ports, Harbours Jetties and Terminals Renewable energy: wave, tidal and wind power Industrial : vessels & tanks, intake screens, outfalls and intake pipes and treatment plants Impalloy has 3 aluminium alloys and 2 zinc alloys available. Impalloy III as been tested by DNV to the long term performance criteria of DNV RP B401 Annex C. The certificate records an anode capacity of 2580Ahr/Kg. Special alloy compositions can be provided on request. Our experienced team can design or advise on corrosion protection systems for new installations, retrofit or life extensions. Our design service helps customers protect their vital capital assets, by minimising costs, improving installation, and providing security in supply. We have designs for Pipelines, Platforms, Jackets, Retrofit Sleds, Jetty Tubular and Sheet Piles, Vessel, Hull, Propeller and Ballast tanks. We introduced new product families and designs for Retrofitting Sacrificial anodes and ICCP systems during 2009. SD Supasled, Midisled, Hexapod and block anodes provide retrofit solutions from small systems up to 100Amp units. The modular designs provide simple transport solutions, convenient handling systems, and rapid, cheap deployment to the seabed. Stacking Hexapod designs offer high vessel deck utilisation. Alldesigns are in-gauge to facilitate containerisation. Our foundry is one of the largest in Europe. We have the capacity to cast anodes up to 1200Kg, and a furnace capacity of 70 tonnes per day. This allows us to tackle the largest jobs with short lead times and with greater consistency, whilst retaining the production flexibility to fast track smaller critical anode requirements. Impalloy offer a comprehensive test and documentation service. This includes project specific quality manuals and procedures, preproduction testing, Inspection and test plan governed test protocols such as composition, dimensional checks, anode condition, destructive tests, Potential measurements, electrochemical capacity and anode core resistance. All details can be supplied in project databooks. The large foundry facilities are backed up by a reorganised and extended fabrication facility which can create anode moulds, large fabrications, complicated inserts quickly and efficiently. We have tube and rod bending, bar cropping, bending, stamping and punching facilities plus plate cutting and welding. Welding is to approved certificates. Our long track record means that we have an extensive catalogue of designs for all types of marine structures. A large inventory of channel and plate moulds enables us to create a huge variety of anode types, sizes and styles.
