Our goals are to assist in the creation of a comfortable, stimulating, educational and social environment while children are receiving chemotherapy in clinic. Treatment of childhood cancer results in side effects and social limitations due to a compromised immune system. These kids lose a large amount of time with friends, school, and contact with the public. Our goal is to give them back some of that time while they are at clinic, by helping create options for them to play, learn, and socialize with each other and their families. Our philosophy promotes the wellbeing of the whole child. Despite illness, all children have needs that are required to foster necessary growth in order to acheive necessary developmental milestones.
