Chilford Hall Vineyard and Conference Centre is the largest dedicated events venue in Eastern England and provides a perfect setting for everything from corporate functions and conferences to weddings and wine tastings.The Vineyard and Winery play a leading role in the region and currently export to France, USA, Holland and Norway.

Chilford Hall has benefited from many improvements and changes over the years. The Great Hall, a grade II listed building dating from 1820, has been tastefully refurbished and is lined with an extensive collection of agricultural artefacts. The Gallery was added in 1971, and in 1997 major alterations were made to the Pavilion which now boasts subtle lighting, elegant décor and 7,500 square feet (696 sq. metres) of uninterrupted space, making it the largest dedicated exhibition space in East Anglia.

After the general euphoria of the heat wave in 2003, people I have met have seemed a little more subdued about the potential for 2004. It didn't seem like much of a summer to many of you and indeed, with two weeks of overcast skies and a fair amount of rain in each month, you would be forgiven for jumping to the conclusion that this year's harvest didn't hold that much promise.
