Boarding Kennels in Fareham

The kennels are owned and run by Lesley and Tony [dogs body] Hatton with one

full time permanent member of staff, Lesley has been (in dogs and cats) for

over 40 years, with experience of boarding, breeding, showing, grooming,

canine Beauty, taking in and rehoming unwanted dogs and has some veterinary

knowledge.

We are very popular and have a good rapport with our clientele both canine

and human, many of our boarders have been With us on a regular basis for

years, from pup to o.a.p.

The new kennel block was built in 1996. the kennels have tiled floors and

half tiled walls, each kennel has its own undercover run The dog's have

access to both all the time in the summer and all day in the winter, the run

popup is closed on winter evenings as The kennels are heated, so the dogs

are warm in winter and cool in summer.

The kitchen is of high quality, we have grooming and bathing facilities. We

pride ourselves on the high standard of hygiene and use Only special non

irritant disinfectants e.t.c.

The dogs are walked daily, and also exercise themselves in the runs. Every

dog is individual and is fed on own home diet. Feeding Times are 11.am and

5pm, other times by request. We are able to give any medication needed also

injection for diabetic dogs.

If a dog should ail whilst boarding your own vet will be contacted, if they

are unavailable the kennel vet will be called fees to be paid by owner.

Dogs to be fully inoculated and the course completed 4 weeks prior to entry

date a certificate to this effect is required and take this home with You

at the time of entry to avoid loss.

It is not recommended that owners take their dogs down to the kennels as in

our experience this upsets the pet as they tend to look for the owner (mom

or dad) in their accommodation,

It is better to leave your dog us at reception and collect there on your

return.

We also provide a collection and delivery service, charges on request.
