The instructor, Ernest "Waffle" Ellender, PhD, earned his black belt under David Camarillo in his Guerrilla Jiu Jitsu style. Dave Camarillo has trained many MMA (UFC and Strikeforce) fighters like Jon Fitch, Cain Velasquez, Josh Koscheck, Mike Swick, and many others. Evolution Training's CrossFit program combines both the CrossFit strength & conditioning program with some aspects of martial arts mixed in to offer members a twist on their fitness routine.
