Genesis Development is a private, not-for-profit rehabilitation service organization providing support for people with disabilities. In existence since 1973, Genesis now has facilities in eleven Iowa locations. Residential Services, Supported Community Living Services, Work Services, Employment Services, Transition Services, Discovery Program (Adult Day Activity), and Mental Health Services are being provided to more than 1,300 people from 45 Iowa counties. Our staff numbers over 350 people across the state of Iowa.

As part of the Genesis vocational education program for our people we operate a number of enterprises including a commercial laundry, a short run cardboard box factory, a screen printing operation, paper and plastics recycling centers and contract fulfillment centers.
