The founders of the company GFD were already concerned since the 60's with special seals and sealing elements for extreme operating conditions. In the year 1983 these activities and knowledge ended in the establishment of the company GFD-Gesellschaft für Dichtungstechnik mbH. With this sum of experiences the foundation stone for an enterprise was laid, which gained within short time an outstanding name in the professional world.
