Our mission is met through our homeless prevention program, emergency housing program, transitional housing program, permanent supportive housing program and our new rapid re-housing program. Families with children under the age of 18 and who are homeless or at iminent risk of becoming homeless may be eligible for our services.

All of our programs include Financial Literacy classes, and the housing programs provide extensive case management, life skills classes, and other services tailored to meet the identified needs of the family.

Our overarching goal in all that we do is to empower the families through educaiton and support to become self-sufficient and independent by the time they graduate from our program.

Helping Hand House has received awards from: United Way, The Nonprofit Center, South Hill Rotary, City of Puyallup, Municipal League, Pierce Cty Coalition to End Homelessness, WA State HFC.
