Himalya International Ltd., signed MOU in Vibrant Gujarat 2009. Its a Rs. 1.3 billion project to grow process Mushrooms, Cheese Yogurts and Baked Breaded appetizers. The project on completion shall employ more than 2000 local people guided by US consultants Himalyas talent pool from its Export unit in Himachal Pradesh. Besides creating employment, it shall benefit thousands of farmers indirectly, who will grow onions, jalapenos potatoes for the company under contract farming and will also enter contract dairy farming for its cheese yogurts facility. Mushrooms will be produced using the agro waste like wheat straw and cottonseed hulls besides recycling all vegetable processing waste of its processing plants. The products shall be exported to gulf countries, UK and USA from Mundra seaport in Gujarat and shall also be marketed in Metro and A class cities of Western India

Mushroom Production: We are one of the largest growers, globally known for our quality products. Mushroom is grown under IN-HOUSE controlled climatic conditions, following all the international and other parameters. The targeted capacity of the Mushroom production has been planned to the tune of 15000 MT per annum.
