When the right IONIC decoder tool is inserted, the top spinning section engages the bottom threaded section automatically. This then allows for either installation or removal.

When locked down – just remove the decoder tool and it is automatically dis-engaged. The lock then just spins and cannot be removed.

These security locks will shortly have a digital lock version included on many of the range. The Ionic Lock range is a Keyless lock in as much as there is no internal key mechanism. It works on a patented magnetic lock bases.
