Curtis Eads Flight School is the oldest, successfully established flight school in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater VA region. We have been operational continuously and in the same location since 1955. We are successfully training second and third generation pilots today and will continue to teach flying well into the future.

We are also the only Authorized Cirrus Training Center in the area. Our specialties include Private through ATP Training, Multi Engine Endorsements and Training, Tail Wheel Endorsements and Training, Sea Plane Endorsements and Training and Complex Endorsements and Training.

We have a formal Ground School, which meets twice weekly in our fully computerized classroom.

Our school is open seven (7) days per week and is manned with professional flight dispatchers.

Judith R. Lear is a WWII aviation historian and published author. Thomas N. Stevens comes from a family of 5 boys all professional aviators. His father, Alston is a VA Aviation Hall of Fame recipient
