CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION

Recognizing that men are created in Gods image but due to the fall are exceedingly sinful, the purpose of Christian education to two-fold; to lead unregenerate students to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to inspire Christian students to achieve the mind of Christ so that they May be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works (2 Timothy 3:17). The product of Christian education will be a servant fully equipped to serve the Lord with excellence and gladness. The student should strive for excellence in all things, knowing that whatever is to be done is to be done as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23) and can be accomplished only with the help of the Holy Spirit.
