Lil Paw Prints Animal Rescue Haven was started five years ago. The founder had been rescuing animals with her dad for over 15 years. It was his passion to help as many animals as possible, regardless of what they were or how bad they were. He would get them medical attention and get them back to power and find loving homes for them.

When he passed away in 2005, his daughter and family wanted to keep his passion alive and kept rescuing animals. In late 2008 when the huge wind storm came in, the founder was forced to give up all bully breeds in her care to other rescues, which devasted her. One of the bully breeds was her own personal dog. Due to insurance issues she had three weeks to locate homes for all the animals or turn them over to other rescues to adopt the
