Many of our HNC, HND and Foundation Degree students stay on for another year to 'top up' their qualification to a full degree. Whichever you choose, you can be confident that taking your education further with Nescot College will give you the tools to dramatically improve your career prospects.
Nescot's Gas and Electrical Academy was established to give trade professionals and their staff the most comprehensive industry training available.
Unlike many training centres, staff at the Academy are not only experienced gas, heating and electrotechnical experts but also highly skilled tutors. The Academy's staff identify which learning style will suit a trainee best and use this to make the learning as enjoyable and effective as possible. This enables you and your staff to qualify faster and better. We don't just sit you down with past papers and textbooks, we show you what you need to know and make sure you can do it perfectly on our state-of-the-art test rigs.
Nescot's experienced teaching staff are at the forefront of training and have partnerships with big trade names to get you the best kit and learning materials and the newest technology and industry innovations.
We have close relationships with training boards so our course prices include textbooks and learning materials which private trainers can only offer as expensive extras. The courses are run to fit in with professional lifestyles, so you can get your new qualifications in blocks, one day a week, evenings or in some cases even while you work. And because we understand the sector we can create a package of qualifications which fully delivers what you need to know - for example our heating engineers can take advantage of our electrical know how, gaining certificates to connect as well as fit the latest technology.
Being part of Nescot we are able to keep our overheads down while delivering this level of training with the latest technology and equipment. Prices are competitive because all you pay for is the training. There are no added extras like VAT, exam, admin or equipment and materials fees. The price we quote is the only price you pay.
By studying at Nescot you have access to all of the opportunities and services on offer to students, including excellent sport and leisure facilities, subsidised refectory, extensive IT suites in the Learning Resource Centre and much more.
Nescot's Gas and Electrical Academy offers all the industry standard qualifications including City and Guild Certificates and Electrical Part P qualifications as well as more specialised courses to sharpen your skills. We can work with groups and organisations to tailor individual times, qualifications packages and prices.
