Master Buchholz, our school's founder, was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He has studied many martial arts beginning his training with the Korean arts of Taekwondo and Hapkido. He has also trained in the Northern Shaolin, Southern Hung Gar and Wing Chun Kungfu styles as well as Tai-Chi, Shuri-Ryu, Jui-Jitsu, Kobudo and others.

Master Buchholz has worked as a law enforcement officer in Colorado and is currently an officer in Wisconsin. He studied police and military defensive tactics, narcotics interdiction, as well as SWAT, anti terrorism and hostage negotiations. On the street he has put these tactics along with his martial arts techniques to the test and found them to be very effective.
