Peabutter is an innovative product that was discovered by accident. The person who

developed the product was looking for a variety of mild tasting pea to make into hummus

which is normally made with chick peas. However chickpeas cannot be grown in northern

Alberta. In the process, he discovered the product made tasted more like peanut butter

than hummus so he carried on from there and NoNuts Golden Peabutter was the result.
