The Providence Singers presents an annual concert series, performs regularly with the RI Philharmonic, and makes frequent guest appearances. Past collaborators include the Dave Brubeck Quartet (Newport Jazz Festival, Jazz at Lincoln Center), the Kronos Quartet at the FirstWorks Festival, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, the New Haven Symphony, Newport Baroque Orchestra, the Aurea Ensemble, Rhode lsiand Children's Chorus, Boston Landmarks Orchestra, and others. The Providence Singers commissions new music, and sponsors choral education through the Junior Providence Singers, an auditioned ensemble for high school students. Providence Singers recordings, released on the BMOP/sound label, are available wherever CDs are sold.
