5. 1 FOR PERLITE ORE

( a) Prepare an approx. 100 g sample of expanded perlite.

( b) Weigh the sample.

( c) The sample shall be then tested by mean of mechanical sieve shaker with the serial

( d) Sieving time shall be not less that 3 mn.

( e) Weigh each sieve content to determine the percentages.

5. 2 FOR EXPANDED PERLITE

( a) Prepare an approx. 20 g sample of expanded perlite ore.

( b) Weigh the sample.

( c) The sample shall be then tested by mean of mechanical sieve shaker with the serial

Of sieves indicated in the result table 2 below.

( d) Sieving time shall be not less that 3 mn.

( e) Weigh each sieve content to determine the percentages.
