Robert's Diamond Showcase has been serving the Hanford and the surrounding areas since 1969. The store was opened by Robert (Bob) Van Gundy after 25 years as a watchmaker and jeweler, working for others. Before Bob enlisted in the Air Force to serve during WWII, he worked in a jewelry store in Salina, Kanasa from whence he hails. After the war, Bob returned to what he knew best - the jewelry industry.

Now, some 40 years later, he still works in the store he founded along with his daughter Linda, and he has shaped it to represent his likeness: A friendly, sincere staff with a desire to serve and help all of those in the jewelry purchasing or repairing market.
