Since the foundation in 1973, Shin Shyu Enterprice Co., Ltd. has served the lock industry and earned a solid reputation as an OEM source for product innovation, manufacturing quality and responsive customer support.

Baton group is under Shin Shyu Enterprice Co., Ltd in Taiwan as a head office, and branch offices are spread across the world, such as Baton Lock Limited (UK), Baton Lock Hardware Co., Ltd., Baton Security investments, Inc. in the USA, and Baton Europe S.L. in Spain.

In 1983, Baton Lock Hardware Co., Inc. started to serve the northern and southern American customers. Since then, Baton has successfully reduced the delivery time within 24 hours to 3 days. In order to reach the goal, we have a big volume of inventory in stock and our assembly line has also been created for the fastest shipment purpose.

In 1992, Regia company was established in the UK, starting to serve the customers and also build assembly line and became the service and stock center for some manufacturing companies. In 1995, we expended Regia company and re-named it as Baton Lock Limited (U.K.) under new structure.

In 1994, Baton dealt with production in China mainland. We have a trained local team there with extensive knowledge of hardware industry, capable of corroborating with foreign manufacturers for outsourcing needs at a competitive price.

Also Baton has built up through the years a list of reliable satellite factories capable of satisfying all types of outsourcing needs. To protect our OEM customers, we have implemented a system to help reducing possible imitations. The factory was build in 2001 and located in Haining, 130km away from Shanghai with space 58,000sq ft and land 120,000sq ft. New machines have also been purchased for the higher precision and greater stability for our products. Not production standard. Management team is from Shin Shyu and Baton USA to put many efforts in raising the standard of Baton's products. This ensures that Baton is able to continue the tradition of producing products above market standards.

In 1999, Baton Secured Investment, Inc. stated to become service and stock center for door lock telephone lock series, providing all the function change, part exchange and re-keying for different purposes. In this situation, the door lock manufacturers can be omitted to build the after-sales service department.

In 2005, Baton Europe S.L. was established to a assembling and warehousing facility at Alsasua, Spain, further serving as the logistic transportation stop for Europe, the UK and Africa for the foreseeable future.

The Baton group has installed ERP computer system for possible global access, allowing effective controlling of data within company while increasing efficiency and further cut down on inventory as well as cost production.

For future, especially after China gets into WTO, Baton has acquired approximately 320,000sq ft of land in Shanghai for building to suit any of our customers who sees China as next frontier. We are eager to assist them and cooperate with them by providing our professional techniques in lock field.
