The history of wet wipes is a recent phenomenon. The wet wipes were born to clean babies. This application still covers the 50% of its use. In the following years the possibility of its uses has been expanded to personal care, cosmetics, and disinfection, medical and environment fields. A new branch of application has been developed: one which uses the same technology to create dry products. Products that are used in the laundry sector, as an alternative to common washing machine detergents have been introduced.
