The system comprises of two closely fitting pvc extrusions that interface the plasterboard and staircase string, allowing for the two very different characteristics of the materials. TrimFlex provides full lateral support to the plasterboard wall surface, yet allows up to 20 mm of vertical movement, catering for the timber drying in/and/or flexing of the staircase itself. The result is a clean, neat, draught free trim that completely eliminates any chance of cracking . Basic system supplied in white, with detachable front facia. Facias soon to be available in two woodgrain effects, and metallic: brass and chrome effects (To match door furniture.) For the new home owner this means no troublesome repairs.
