UK Folk Music is a leading website for information on Folk Festivals | Folk Concerts | Folk Music Artists. We are the home of two folk music programmes on the web FolkRise and Folkwaves.

The FOLKWAVES programme used to be on BBC Radio Derby for over 23 years until the BBC axed 'minority' music shows in December 2010. Folkwaves, presented by Mick Peat and Lester Simpson had a huge following and we were delighted by be able to re-launch the show in May 2012.

The UK Folk Music site also includes featured artists and album reviews and links to the folk scene.
