In June 2012, an investment group led by Marc de La Bruyère, Chair of Western Canada’s largest privately held residential real estate development group and W. Brett Wilson, one of Canada’s most successful and respected entrepreneurs, acquired the company. Ted Power, a pioneer in tracking and quality assurance software development became Viewtrak’s new CEO. Networking and software development entrepreneur, Hubert Lau, became Executive Vice President. The corporate reorganization included an immediate and significant injection of capital to allow for expansion of the business model, focused on enhancements in research and development, technology, product development, management renewal, customer outreach and brand awareness.
