The principal domestic customers are the forestry, chemical, metal and engineering industries. In 2007 VR Cargo transported over 40,3 million tonnes of goods. Domestic freight volumes in Finland reached about 26 million tonnes. . VR Cargo offers wide expertise in the rail freight traffic to and from the East.
