설명
Seeing how global warming is affecting our ecological system, the difficulties farmers encounter when growing food, and the demand for polycarbonate greenhouses. VULCAN Plastics imported its first polycarbonate co extrusion machine from Mitsubishi, Japan in 1991.
Currently we have 5 production lines in total, 2 dedicated to corrugated sheets and 3 for flat sheets production, with a total production capacity of approx. 100 tons per day. Breyer, Omipa, Toshiba Hitachi, Dynisco, and EDI are among our list of investments in machinery, all of which extrudes trustworthy polycarbonate sheets.
Through extensive testing, we have seen what the sun and excessive heat does to a poor polycarbonate product, which is why VULCAN polycarbonate sheet uses only first class, non recycled material to ensure the lifespan of all our products.
Impurity leads to less quality, which is why VULCAN Polycarbonate sheets are produced in Class 5000 clean rooms; the cleaner the environment, the cleaner the sheets, and hence a longer lifespan.
All of our polycarbonate sheets are co extruded with optical grade SD Polyca UV400 from Sumitomo Dow Chemicals Japan and have less than 2.5 percent of UV penetrability. Add these to our already impeccable quality, and we are proud to provide a 10 year warranty, 5 for yellowing and 10 for usage, for all of our UV400 coated polycarbonate sheets.
What is a Polycarbonate Sheet?
Polycarbonate (PC) are a particular group of thermoplastic polymers which offers excellent optical clarity and instills a combination of unique properties, making it a good choice for safety and security glazing to fit in a wide variety of applications. Its lighter weight (1/3 of acrylic and 1/6 of glass) and versatility makes it easy to install and bent to form to meet different requirements. When combined with UV surface coating, PC sheet enhances protection against light transmission losses and yellowing caused by excessive exposure to UV radiation in sunlight.
