A Dental Assistant is a critical member of a Dental Office Team. They work with the Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Front Desk, & Dental Lab Technicians. To provide excellent care to the patients. The Dental Assistants are the extended hands to the Dentist. They are the first line of care to the patient.

The Dental Assistant performs a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. They sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare and lay out the instruments and materials required to treat each patient. During dental procedures, assistants work alongside of the dentist to provide assistance. Dental Assistants may prepare materials for impressions and restorations, and process dental x-rays as directed by the dentist. Dental Assistant with laboratory duties make cast of the teeth and mouth from impressions, clean and polish removable prosthetic, and make temporary crowns. Those with office duties schedule and confirm appointments, receive patients, keep treatment records, send bills, and receive payments.

We offer an exciting 600 hour program 400 hours are completed in school and 200 hours are completed in an actual Dental Facility (externship).
